An experience, not a swag pile
The bar itself is the entertainment. Guests browse cap colors, choose a patch, and watch it get applied. It draws a line without a stage, a screen, or a scheduled activity.
Guests choose a blank cap, pick a patch or logo, and walk away in minutes wearing something they had a hand in. Merch Troop brings the caps, the presses, and the crew to your event.
Turnkey for planners: we source the blanks, prep your logo, staff the station, travel to the venue, and hand every finished cap back clean.
Why companies book it
Branded pens and tote bags end up in a drawer. A cap someone customized at your event gets worn to the gym, the airport, and the next offsite — carrying your logo for months, not minutes.
The bar itself is the entertainment. Guests browse cap colors, choose a patch, and watch it get applied. It draws a line without a stage, a screen, or a scheduled activity.
We match your logo to the decoration method — a debossed leather patch for a premium feel, embroidery for a classic look, or a full-color pressed crest for detailed marks.
You approve the caps and artwork; we handle sourcing, prep, load-in, staffing, and cleanup. Planners get one point of contact and one clean quote.
Built for headcount
How the bar runs
Guests choose a silhouette and color from the rack — Richardson 112 trucker, Flexfit 110 fitted, a soft dad cap, or a structured five-panel.
They select from your approved patch or logo menu. One design keeps the line fast; a few options make it feel bespoke.
Our operator handles the press or patch application at the station. Guests stay on the safe side of the table and watch it happen.
Each cap is checked, shaped, and handed back. No pileup, no mix-ups — just a finished cap and a good story.

The premium option
For client suites and executive gifting, a laser-cut, debossed leather (or vegan-leather) patch turns a $12 blank into something people frame. We proof the patch against your logo before the event and stitch or press it on-site.

Quick answers
Staffed hat bars start around $5,000 for local events. That covers the cap inventory, patch prep, presses, crew, load-in, and teardown. Crew time is $250 per hour, and events beyond Orange County, LA, or San Diego add a flat $900 travel fee. Send the date and headcount and a real quote comes back within one business day.
One staffed station finishes 60 or more caps per hour once the line is moving. A 150-person holiday party clears in under three staffed hours; for conferences of 500 or more we run multiple stations so the line never becomes the story.
A 10x10 foot footprint and two standard 120V circuits. That fits a ballroom corner, an office lobby, or a booth at your conference. We load in about 90 minutes before doors and coordinate placement directly with your venue.
Two to three weeks covers most events: enough time to proof your logo, produce custom leather or embroidered patches, and source caps in your colors. Tighter windows are sometimes workable with stocked patches, so send the date before ruling it out.
Yes, and you should. You approve the cap menu and the patch menu before the event, so every finished cap is on-brand. One logo keeps the line fastest; three to five approved options make it feel bespoke without slowing the press.
